Creating the Spamscreen Folder in WebMail
If you've set up Spamscreen
filtering for another IMAP-based email program
you use for your MIT email, e.g., Outlook or
Eudora (used with IMAP), your Spamscreen folder
is already set up.
 |

|
Note: Everyone with an account
created on or after October 4, 2004 will have a Spamscreen
folder already created on the main server and will not need
to complete the following steps. |
 |
Create the Folder
- Login to WebMail.
- Click the Folders link in the toolbar at top of page.

Result: The list of folders appears.
- Check the box next to INBOX as shown below.
- Select Create Folder from the Choose Action
dropdown list.

Result: The Create Sub-folder dialog box appears.
- In the dialog box, type Spamscreen (without quotes, make
sure it's a capital S) and click OK.

Result: You should have a folder inside your INBOX called Spamscreen.
All messages flagged as Spam will automatically go into this folder.
 |

|
Hint: If you get a "Permission denied"
message, please make sure you placed a checkmark next
to "INBOX" in Step 3, and try again. |
