Service Overview:
As an alternative to teleconferencing and email, instant messaging has been growing in popularity. MIT has its own instant messaging services -- Jabber and Zephyr.

How To Obtain:

• MIT Jabber Instant Messaging Service: for Athena, Macintosh, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Windows
• Zephyr: for Athena and Linux
