MIT Cable Launches Full Boston HDTV Lineup
HDTV graphic

MIT Cable is happy to announce the rollout of all major Boston HDTV channels!

Viewers with HDTV Cable® capable equipment will be able to tune HDTV broadcasts from the major Boston networks by simply connecting MIT cable to their sets. We are presently carrying nine Boston channels and their multiplexed sub-channels on MIT Cable channels 2 through 7. The signal format is clear 256QAM, the HDTV Cable® standard. We already know that we don't have all the bugs out yet, and the new HDTV channels will require some additional tweaks, but we wanted to get them up in time for the Winter Olympics. NBC and the majority of networks appear to be fairly stable. Please consider this an early beta release. We welcome viewer feedback.

MIT Cable is pleased to implement this next step in providing 21st century television!
