Certificates are your key to secure web services at MIT, such as Benefits, Request Tracker, ECAT, Roles,
SAPweb, and WebSIS. MIT personal web certificates are set to expire periodically.
Personal certificates obtained starting June, 2007, are good until
July 31, 2008. An MIT Certificate Authority (CA) obtained starting
June, 2006, is good until August, 2026. If you are obtaining certificates
for the first time (such as on a new computer), get the MIT CA first.
