The AdminIT Program

The AdminIT Program was established by Information Services and Technology (IS&T) to provide special IT-based support to Administrative members of the MIT community. AdminIT works in conjunction with the Administrative Desktop Renewal Program, which was created several years ago to assist Departments, Labs, and Centers (DLC) with limited funding to acquire computer equipment.

The participating DLCs in the AdminIT Program receive:

  • Bi-annual Preventative maintenance visits.

  • Evaluation and renewal of computers, monitors and printers.

  • Computing support via phone, email and if need be an on-site visit.

  • Invitations to participate in periodic meetings to address IT needs and to discuss important IS&T updates
