IT-SPARCC

Information technology reaches into every aspect of the MIT community. IT has become pervasive in all facets of the academic, research, and administrative enterprise.

The Information Technology Strategic Planning and Resources Coordinating Council (IT-SPARCC) will function as the strategic coordinating body for information technology at MIT. The Council, under the direction of the Vice President for Information Services & Technology, will advise the Provost and Executive Vice-President on policies and priorities for IT infrastructure and services across the Institute. Recommendations from the Council will feed directly into the decisions for capital allocation, annual budgets, and rate structures.
