I/T Architecture Group Concerns:
ITS runs contradictory to our values and vision
- ITS is not secure, not robust, not scaleable, and not coherent with MITís I/T infrastructure
- ITS limits our control of future I/T
because:
- limitation of flexibility (loss of desktop control) and later potential for adverse impacts on applications, including academic ones
- security is unacceptable for HR data and risky for financial data
- NT is a high-risk architecture
- certificate technology is under SAP control
- not a 7x24 service
