Hello World.

I realize you cannot speak because you are really just a rock flying through space, but since the dawn of computers everyone has been saying "hello" to you. Frankly, I don't understand this myself. Maybe it all started with a BASIC program demo by someone who couldn't think of anything to write. Or, maybe it was first written when computer memory was so expensive that these two simple words were all that could be afforded by the person who first wrote them. It's hard to believe that this odd greeting tradition has continued so long. Maybe I'm taking this all too literally. Ok, that's all. Goodbye world.
