How to set your browser to read the document which contains Japanese characters.
This is an instruction for PC.

Step 1 and 2 are for Internet Explorer.
Step 3 is for Netscape Navigator.
I strongly recommend that you should use "Netscape Navigator".

1.Installing Japanese font
==========================
Using Internet Explore,
        1. Goto "http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/"
        2. Click "Product updates"
        3. Choose below two items
                "Japanese Language Support"
                "Language Auto-Selection"
           from the section described below.
                [Additional Windows features]
                  [Internet]
                    [International Language Support]
        4. Then download.

2.Browsing the web documents which contains Japanese characters
===============================================================
  If you are lucky, you can autonatically browse Japanese web documents.
  If it seems not to be Japanese characters, please try
        View -> Encording -> More -> Japanese(Auto-Select)
  Probably, you don't need to choose "More" after the first time.

3.Setting for Netscape Navigator
================================
  After step 1 and 2 described above,
        1. Choose
	        Edit -> Preferences
	2. Double click "Appearance"
	3. Click "Fonts"
	4. Choose "Japanese" as "For the encording"
	5. Choose "MS Gothic" as both "Variable Width Font" and "Fixed Width Font"
	6. Click "OK"
