I am at MIT pursuing improving Japanese-English machine translation in pursuit of a Master's degree. My advisor is Michael Collins. I previously interned at Google working with the team behind translate.google.com. I play in Scrabble tournaments. I cowrote a free Scrabble artificial intelligence Quackle. I contributed several programs to the free K Desktop Environment: Kolf, a miniature golf game; Kiten, a Japanese-English dictionary program; and Atlantik Designer, a program that creates Monopoly-like boards.
