The book presents design guidelines for software that uses the Java(tm) Foundation Classes (JFC). This includes visual design, layout, and the graphical hallmarks of the Java look and feel. Among other things, attendees will learn how to use XML in Java applications, how application design is influenced by an XML-based application framework, and how to extend XFDL using Java.
