Small Bio
     I was born in Santiago,Chile and lived there until I was seven. I then lived in Italy for a year and got to visit much of Western Europe. We finally moved to Miami, FL where I attended the University of Miami and got my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Physics.  I then did my Ph.D. at the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology (HST) working with Dr. Hamish Fraser and Dr. Sonya Shin from the Division of Social Medicine and Health Inequalities at the Brigham & Women's Hospital. I work at the non-profit Partners In Health mostly in Peru. Click here for learn more about my research.


     I am currently a fellow at the Decision Systems Group at the Brigham & Women's Hospital, continuing to work with Partners In Health and also with the Global Health Delivery Online team in implementing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in Latin America, especially the Open Source EMR OpenMRS.
