Small Bio
I was born in Santiago,Chile and lived there until I was seven. I then lived in Italy for a year and got to visit much of Western Europe.
We finally moved to Miami, FL where I attended the University of Miami and got my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Physics.
I then did my Ph.D. at the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology (HST)
working with Dr. Hamish Fraser and Dr. Sonya Shin from the Division of Social Medicine and Health Inequalities
at the Brigham & Women's Hospital. I work at the non-profit Partners In Health mostly in Peru. Click here for learn more about my research.
