Um, looks like the Ricks and I are going to go on Friday, stay
over Fri and Sat nights with friends in Vineyard Haven.

They say, "Be careful not to take the ferry to Oak Bluffs. That's Very
Important."

They also say, "You'll probably have to park in a lot about 4 miles from
the ferry. A bus will pick you up." (but of course, that adds time to
the trip.)



Here's a link to the ferry info to Martha's Vineyard. Note that the 
schedule changes next week and that the auto rate has dropped to $31. There 
is a ferry that leaves at 8:15 AM and arrives at 9.

Parking at the ferry in Woods Hole is $8/day. They state that you have to 
be at the dock 1/2 hour before sailing but
I don't know about off season.
Directions From Boston:
To Woods Hole - Route 3 (Southeast Expressway) to the Sagamore Bridge, 
Route 6 West to Buzzards Bay and cross the Bourne Bridge, follow Route 28 
to Falmouth and Woods Hole. Alternate Route: Follow Route 128 to Route 24 
South, follow 24 to Route 495/25 East, take 25 to Buzzards Bay, cross the 
Bourne Bridge and follow Route 28 to Falmouth and Woods Hole. Distance from 
Boston - approximately 75 miles.

Jeff, when you talk to Tappan, find out where we're going to be on the 
island in case anyone is planning on staying over. Also what kind of 
facilities are available for us when we're not filming -- place to hang 
out, things to do, etc.




Jeff, can you contact Tappen before practice tonight to check his feelings 
about this weekend. The weather forecasts vary between sunny, cold, and 
rainy. Is he definitely going with this weekend or will he postpone if 
neither day is right? Which day is he leaning towards? Plus my questions 
from the other day about the site. Like do we have a place to keep warm if 
it's in the 40's?
