Research Interests:

After an M.S. in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science (2001) Vardha obtained his

PhD in Chemistry from Princeton University (2007) studying ferroelectric phase transitions

using ab initio molecular dynamics techniques. His primary interests are in electronic

structure theory applied to the study of materials of both fundamental and practical

interest. Current interests include nano-photovoltaics and nano-mechanical phenomena. He also retains interest in ferroelectric materials and structural phase transitions.
