Thank you for your interest in graduate studies at MIT. The departmental Graduate Admission Committee makes all decisions regarding applications.Once you have been admitted to the Department, you will typically have the opportunity to visit individual faculty members and research groups. Moreover, you will have several months at MIT to explore potential research projects with various MIT faculty members before joining a specific research group.
