The MIT Energy Map [energymap.mit.edu] is a website that displays past and present energy consumption patterns of MIT's buildings. A compilation of metered data from Facilities is stored and used to dynamically generate plots and maps for display on the web. It can be used to identify low-hanging fruit for campus improvement projects, to provide a baseline for design of new buildings on campus, and to inform building users about consumption.
