In a thermodynamic system, a universe consisting of surroundings and systems is made up of quantities of matter, its pressure differences, density differences, and temperature differences that all tend to equalize over time. In our building, we intend to create different spatial conditions to minimize energy absorption and decrease the entropy within an isolated environment, to provide certain conditions to allow us to absorb and harness the energy produced within the system. As part of Meejin Yoon’s Level II Architecture Studio, we have proposed a design for an energy farm utilizing the wind generated by trains to sustain a rail station. We have done this through the design of a flux wall, which uses the triboelectric effect in various materials to generate electricity. In the exhibit, we intend to create a board illustrating our design, with illustrations, drawings, and photographs of architectural models and processes.
