Above, “The Queen of France is bald!” (not to mention armless)
Contest Guidelines...
Something 3-dimensional (any medium/media), something to do with semantics (say, a concept, a sentence, a scenario, a famous semanticist...), and have fun. The concept is what counts; artistic detail and intricacy is not necessary! Have a browse through the provided links for ideas. Dioramas will be displayed all day outside the conference room, and voted on near the end to decide who gets the fame, the glory, and the prize :)
(all SNEWS attendees (profs. included ;) ...) are invited and encouraged to participate, not just presenters!! Contact Jillian (jillymae at mit dot edu) with questions, or for ideas, materials, etc.)
