Description ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, MBA STUDENT AFFAIRS, Sloan School of Management, to be responsible for student advising and major events for the MBA Program Office. Student advising entails academic and extracurricular advising of enrolled MBA students, including course and track selection, the management of one sixty-person section of first-year MBA students, team facilitation and coaching, and counseling students on how to get the most out of their Sloan experience. Major events duties include the proactive design, coordination, and delivery of mission critical projects offered by the MBA Program Office for enrolled students, e.g., pre-term review sessions, orientation, international trips, summer mailings, and commencement. REQUIREMENTS: highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrable planning and project management talents, and effective follow-through. Seek outgoing, caring, detail-oriented, creative, appropriately experienced individual who enjoys challenge and change. Must be a self starter who is able to work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Counseling/advising experience highly desired. A master's degree or equivalent experience also desirable, preferably in a corporate or higher education setting. (Starting range: $50s.) 02-0498P Location
