Job Description

RESEARCH ENGINEER, Mechanical Engineering, to join the Auto-ID Center. Will complete measurement and compliance tests with radio frequency identification (RFID) systems; measure noise and interference issues in typical deployment scenarios; and develop methodologies for qualifying, rating, and certifying RFID systems in different modes of application. Will participate in the ongoing efforts of the field trial team, advising on technology choices and developing and documenting field experience for the center. REQUIREMENTS. Seek an expert on radio frequency identification systems and at least three years' experience with RFID readers, tags and measurements, and a clear knowledge of RFID engineering and physics. A master's degree and work experience in RFID preferred. 02-1146
