Job Description

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, SPECIAL PROGRAMS, Sloan School of Management, to manage and direct all aspects of a successful triannual academic convocation and Sloan Alumni Boston and New England events, including program and content development, promotional/marketing materials, event logistics, speaker recruitment, volunteer management, budget management, and media. Will also manage all aspects of a comprehensive program of alumni recognition and leadership training including working and coordinating with the MIT Alumni Association to incorporate Sloan needs into the Leadership Program and working with staff to identify and recognize the most deserving of Sloan alumni. Will report to the Director of Alumni Relations. REQUIREMENTS: five or more years of related experience in an educational or nonprofit environment; ability to work well with key volunteers, faculty, and administrators; and excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work both independently and closely with others required. 02-1214P
