Job Description

TRAINER/TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR, Financial Systems Services, to fill varied position including training delivery and registrar responsibilities. Will participate in instructional design and delivery of technical and business practice training on MIT'S SAP R/3 software and related business applications. As a member of the Learning and Docs Team, will also provide registration support for classes delivered by the team. Duties include scheduling rooms and arranging AV support for classes and demonstrations; providing class lists, certificates, and evaluation forms to instructors utilizing in-house registration database; triaging registration problems, including registration by nonauthorized employees and inquiries from outside of MIT; maintaining up-to-date course descriptions and catalog information; and collecting and calculating data from course evaluations for quarterly review. Will also proctor labs and deliver demonstrations and possibly hands-on classes to users of the SAP administrative software system; participate in the design and development of training courses including needs assessment to define course content, audience, delivery method and the creation of instructor guides, slide presentations, and course materials; communicate with FSS development and other groups regarding features/functionality, course schedules, training needs, etc.; and ensure appropriate information flow on assigned projects. REQUIREMENTS: a bachelor's degree; one year of direct or two to three years' related business experience; and experience with Windows, Macintosh, and networked environments. Strong service orientation and exquisite attention to detail required. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills needed. Must have proven history of working well in a team-based environment. 03-0050O
