About
-
The Bulgarian Club is a non-profit
organization of students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
We are a relatively new organization - established in December, 1997. We
have several dozens of active
members as well
as small
governing body.
-
Goals
-
Our main goals are to create strong
and lasting relationships between the members of the Bulgarian community
at MIT, and to help freshmen and new transfer students acclimatize easily
to the new environment.
-
We also work to promote the culture,
tradition, history and economy of Bulgaria in all possible ways. At this
time this is pursued mainly through the means of organizing and participating
in multicultural events at MIT, but other ideas are very welcome.
-
The Bulgarian Club at MIT strives
to establish new and maintain existing contacts with other organizations
with similar background and goals.
