Located along the Seine in the 13th arrondissement, Parc André Citroën is an expansive area of green that provides a refreshing retreat from the density of the rest of the city. A modern park adorned with sculptures and surrounded by unique glass buildings, the park also features two greenhouses, a manmade river (and many ducks and geese) and several neat fountains. Since the millennial celebrations that began in 1999, the park has also been home to a hot air balloon ride that provides a less traditional aerial view of Paris.
