Originally a rail station, the Musée d’Orsay has a rich collection of impressionist and modern art.  There are many works by Van Gogh, Renoir, Degas, and Monet, as well as exhibits on Art Nouveau and statues by Rodin and Claudel.  The museum also has several paintings by Manet and Gauguin.
