Le Montebello

Tuesday 1/6/09

The outside of Le Montebello:

We had lunch in a restaurant on the left bank of the Seine, across from Notre Dame Cathedral. After our long walk around the Ile de la Cité, we were very happy to enter the warmth of the cozy restaurant, called Montebello. I ate an onion soup as my appetizer, followed by roasted salmon, and then crème brûlée for dessert. It was all very delicious! Some of the other dishes that people ordered were vegetable soup, roasted chicken, and crêpes in Grand Marnier sauce. I think everyone was very satisfied. The waiters were friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant. The beautiful views of the riverbanks through the windows made our lunch especially enjoyable.
