Coffee

Café viennois:

caffe

There are many types of French coffees- the most important thing is to know which type you are ordering because the names are not always apparent.  The second morning of the trip, I ordered a café and got an espresso.  If you don't specify, a café is a café express. A coffee with cream and sugar, café au lait, is more commonly called café crème. Professor Turk explained to me the various other terms for stronger coffee, black coffee, etc.  I discovered a new favorite coffee in the Musée d'Orsay café, a  café viennois, an espresso with delicious freshly made whipped cream on top!
