This schedule offers times for Fall 2018 writing conferences for students in

21H.240 (World of Charlemagne),

24.906 (Linguistics of Bilingualism), and

STS.002 (Finance and Society).

The open spaces are available, but not "clickable": you have to write me back (jwildman) and I will confirm the time. Your initials will go next to the time of your conference.

We'll meet in E18-228B (see directions below) or at a different convenient spot.

OAQs (occasionally asked questions)

What if none of the times works with my schedule?

Usually, there is some flexibility at the beginning and end of a time range. Write me and we'll work it out.

Can I sign up for an appointment on the same day?

In most cases I will need to know by the night before. But there is no penalty for asking.

Should I come in for my appointment if my draft isn't done yet?

Yes! We can discuss your ideas and come up with an approach.

Citations confuse me. Is there somewhere I can go for specifics and advice?

Two excellent resources are

https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/resources.html (Purdue Owl's citation styles from APA, MLA and Chicago, for most kinds of sources)

http://isites.harvard.edu/fs/docs/icb.topic930980.files/WritingWithSources.pdf (Gordon Harvey's concise, readable general guide).
