Pictures from Cornell Trip (3/2-3/4)
Here are the pictures I took while I was in Ithaca visiting Cornell
for graduate school. They are in chronological order.

View from my hotel room at Hilton Garden Inn

Scenes from the downtown area (Ithaca Commons, library, gas station,
an impressive total of 3 tattoo parlors...)

This was taken while I was hiking up the enormous hill that Cornell
sits on.

Gorges! One of the things Ithaca and Cornell seem to be famous for.
The bridge was kinda shaky and vaguely disturbing. But the view was
incredibly beautiful for just walking from the hotel to campus.

Buildings of Cornell at last. The hill climbing was near an end.

This is the engineering quad..

the building for business classes

more of the engineering quad..

A welded sculpture outside the Statler Hotel..

Some more pretty pictures. (They get self-explanatory after a while.)

And back to the buildings with some scary icicles and then the Rhodes
building.

It was warm while I was there (after the first night of snow), so lots
of the snow melted by the time I left.

The graduate mixer party was fun. People played Rock Band and
Settlers of Catan.

View from a stairwell in Upson (the CS building).

Part of the small Ithaca airport. There are 6 gates in total, and
they seem to only fly to Detroit, Philadelphia, and NYC (La Guardia).

La Guardia, on the other hand, was scary in that people who wanted to
go from NYC to Boston at 8 in the morning were all well-dressed
businesspeople. I was the only underdressed random college kid.
