I am now an Assistant Professor in the School of Oceanography and Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington, Seattle. You can find me here.

My primary research interests are in climate dynamics, including sea ice, the general circulation of the atmosphere and oceans, and global climate change. Recent work has focused on Arctic sea ice loss, atmospheric feedbacks and climate sensitivity, and the role of the ocean in setting the timescales and geographic patterns of climate change and variability.
