The Kelly-Douglas fund supports projects that enrich our understanding of one or more of the fields comprising the Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) at MIT.
Initially created to support faculty research and teaching in the humanities alone, the Fund has gradually shifted its emphasis, broadening its mission to include lecturers and students (both graduate and undergraduate).
The Fund is now accepting applications for Fall and IAP. Applications for Spring will be accepted starting January 1.
Fellowship applications for IAP 2012 travel are due Monday, November 14th by noon. The deadline for applications to travel in Summer 2012 will be Tuesday, April 17 2012 by noon.
The deadline to submit essay for the 2011-12 competition is Tuesday, April 17 2012 by noon.
