Circulating tumor cells and cancer metastasis

This projects studies the mechanism of cancer metastasis by characterizing circulating tumor cells through surface marker expression analysis, gene expression profiling as well as in vivo tumorigenicity studies. Targets identified through the screening will be used for therapeutic development.
