MarketWatch Leland's Farm, CA Shares of Dnab Drofnats (symbol: EMBO) moved sharply higher today following the announcement of the pending occupancy of a new corporate headquarters located adjacent to Sam MacDonald Mall. Investors were favorably impressed with the prospects of a 3,700 square foot, terraced rehearsal hall collocated with office and storage space. Sources within Dnab Drofnats observed that the nearly 11,000 square foot facility was needed to accommodate the organization's demanding present operational needs while providing room for anticipated growth. In addition to the terraced rehearsal hall, other features that will enhance the group's core businesses include a 680 square foot dance studio, small and large group meeting areas, and modern communications services with the Office of Student Activities programmed onto speed-dial. The facility is a result of a partnership with Directors'Cups'R'Us and WeKnowWhereYouWorkAndHowMuchYouMake.edu. The new headquarters was designed by Hoover and Associates, with acoustic consultants Lewitz & Associates; general contracting was provided by Vance Brown Builders (without Associates). Construction of the new headquarters commenced in November of 2005 and is scheduled for completion by the end of April 2006. Today's announcement also described plans for a gala opening celebration. The May 21st festivities will feature an aural and visual extravaganza that is likely to be quite a departure from previous events held in this staid neighborhood. The event will certainly incorporate the unpredictability and improvisation which have long been a hallmark of the organization. Dnab Drofnats, a leader in the delivery of Rock and Roll, Ensemble Dance, and Good Times is expected to continue to outperform other groups in this sector. Analysts suspect that anticipation surrounding the imminent release of a new multimedia product has contributed to the recent volatility in share prices. The group, like most in the corporate world, has been forced to meet tough new governance and accounting standards. Management and the Board of Director have garnered praise for their accomplishments in adapting new practices without diluting the customer experience. In an associated story, rodents in the greater Burnham area complained that relocation of Dnab Drofnats to the new headquarters will reduce the available housing stock in the Burnham area. Negotiations with the Brotherhood of ShakRats international union have broken down completely. Spokesmice were quick to note that opportunities for housing in the vicinity of the new headquarters have already been fully developed, which could lead to longer commutes and a lower quality of life for Burnham residents.
