xkcd 1110 Slideshow

A slideshow of all the tiles from xkcd #1110 "Click and Drag".

A small amount of panning is available, if the edge cuts off something important. This is not intended to be a generic panning interface.

Slides are ordered by entropy, as measured by lossless data compression. The most exciting are first; it gets boring toward the end. 1800 slides total.

All tiles came from the Bittorrent file posted by Cecil on the xkcd forums. Original tiles were 2048 by 2048, except 14s2e and 14s3e which were 2048 by 2046. The available tiles do not cover the entirety of a rectangular canvas; presumably missing tiles get filled in with solid color by Javascript.

Each tile is cut into 8 slides 1024 by 512 to fit on most screens. No Javascript!

Several other people have created zoomable maps of the entire picture.
