James Goodwin

James Goodwin was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Jim majored in accounting at Virginia Tech, earned his CPA certificate and worked for Arthur Andersen in New York City from 1978-1982. He attended business school at Stanford University graduating with an MBA in 1984. Since that time he has worked in the financial services industry with Morgan Stanley, National Westminster Bank and since 1998, for himself. He also continues the efforts of his late wife, Hope Babette Tang, (an MIT graduate, a physician and medical director of New York Presbyterians Pediatric AIDS clinic) by serving on the Pediatric Advisory Committee at Columbia University Medical Center. His son, Gordon Tang Goodwin, is 11 years old and enthusiastic about Legos and the New York Yankees.
