Judy C. Swanson

Judy C. Swanson is the Director of the Swanson Foundation established by her late husband, Robert A. Swanson, MIT '69, founder of Genentech, Inc. The Swanson family is proud to be part of the Swanson Biotech Center in the new Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research at MIT. Judy is the CEO of K&E Management, Ltd., a private investment partnership. She is a graduate of Michigan State University and is currently a member of the Boards of Trustees for the San Francisco Ballet, the Tech Museum's Tech Awards for Humanity, the Stanford University Board of Athletics, Family Service Agency of San Mateo County and the National Academy of Sciences' Presidents' Circle. Judy is a lifetime member of the International Chapter of Young Presidents' Organization, the Chief Executives' Organization and "The Merry's". Personal interests include, first and foremost, her family, community service and philanthropy. She drives a Prius, rides a Vespa, has an organic garden, supports our pollinators and loves Lake Tahoe!
