The Media Preparation Core Facility provides Koch Institute member laboratories with a wide array of high-quality custom-made bacterial, yeast and tissue culture media. Access is typically reserved for KI members. In some circumstances, access may be available to non-member MIT users (details available on request from the Facility Coordinator).
Member laboratories receive deliveries of standard media to established locations on each floor of the Koch Institute. Requests to change delivery of standard media or questions regarding standard media may be directed to the appropriate Facility staff member.
New requests for media should be directed to the Facility Faculty Supervisor, Angelika Amon.
