Daniel Nocera, The Henry Dreyfus Professor of Energy and Professor of Chemistry at MIT, is at the forefront of research on renewable energy at the molecular level, focusing on mechanisms of energy conversion involving the water molecule. In September 2009, he visited the Knight Fellows to discuss his research, and the concept of "personalized" energy units.
