Part Art, Part Sport

Since I took my first steps on the ice at the age of 6, I've competed on Team USA, traveling throughout the world on the Junior Grand Prix Circuit and 2015 US World Junior Team.

I've picked up two US junior men's silver medals and two consecutive US Collegiate Championship titles. I also serve on the US Figure Skating Singles Committee.

I now train and compete under Mitchell Johansson Method and Skating Club of Boston.

01 Career

02 Computational Media Design

For my final project for the MIT Media Lab MAS First-Year program, MAS.110 Fundamentals of Computational Media Design, I pursued a new way of looking at figure skating jump and spin elements by taking frame-by-frame shots and stitching them together into one frame.

After doing multiple takes in order to get the perfect combination of lighting, composure, and composition, I used stitched them together with different opacities to create a sense of progression and movement.
