I am a masters student in Media Arts and Sciences at the
MIT Media Lab working on research in
TMG with Hiroshi Ishii.
Most technologies evolve slowly pushing things faster, cheaper, and more efficient as millions of people around the world make modifications to existing systems to improve their performance. These modifications are important, but the most revolutionary ideas come about in a very different way. They challenge the norms of society and its creations to not only consider alternate solutions, but also to consider the questions themselves being asked. I hope to be a part of these revolutionary ideas; bridging the gap between the physical world in which we live as humans and the digital world that provides a vast array of tools and information storage, manipulation, and visualization.
