I have always been somewhat of a fitness buff and have pushed my body to it's limits for years with hard martial arts, weight lifting, and conditioning. Now, approaching the age of 41, I have noticed a huge decrease in my ability to recover from these workouts. I was introduced to Soft Qigong and Wing Chun, by Jim Roselando, about 4 years ago and have experienced significant improvement in my recovery abilities and general overall health. This training enabled me to let go of a lot of the conditioning I previously concentrated on without seeing dramatic decreases in health and fitness. Soft Qigong has greatly improved my posture, stamina, and balance while simultaneously reducing my stress level. The health benefits from training Qigong could be compared to the Fountain of Youth because it promotes good health and endurance. I've been training for one year and a half and notice strength where there once was injury in my shoulder and back. My posture is ten times better. I have a greater depth of respiration because I'm breathing from my diaphragm, whereas before I was taking shallow breaths when doing any type of exercise. I recommend Qigong for everybody because it can compliment modern medicine, strength training, endurance, yoga and all types of fitness. The benefits are internal and you will notice a change in body awareness and internal strength.

I have been training Qigong for 4 years. Since I started training I have become more healthy. I never had the flu in those years. Also my neck injury due to a ski-accident is almost completely gone. But Qigong is not only good for the sick and disabled... ;-) It also does wonders with your attitude and relationships. Everything is more relaxed and easier. Not that life is perfect but you can deal more easily with whatever comes your way. I hope more people will learn Qigong and enjoy the benefits for themselves!

I have been practicing qigong for 26 years now and have found it has kept me healthy and strong. Also, it enabled me to get over a bad car accident very quickly.
