---Photography as Inquiry is a class about urban landscape photography. It is taught by Anne Whiston Spirn, a new faculty member in our Department of Urban Studies and Planning.

Each student chose a site around Boston to photograph and observe. My site is Harvard Square.

Over the course of the semester, I kept a journal and completed three photographic studies of Harvard Square: Light, Significant Detail and Poetics. The term project is a photo essay.
