This sculpture is part of the MTA renovation (or is the brick merely a coincidence?).

The title of the sculpture is "The Gateway to Knowledge." Of course, no one could possibly pass through this gateway. Perhaps a reference to the eye of a needle?

I suppose the brick is somehow collegiate.
