Mr. Kawasaki's newest volume in his Origami Dream series will not disappoint fans of his work. This Flowers and Animals volume has a nice mix of interesting and very 3-D models. The diagrams are clear, with accompanying photos of tricky steps. There is a great deal of explanatory text, which goes into some detail about what's happening in the diagrams. Because the models are so 3-D, this explanatory text is very helpful, and non-Japanese readers will have to pay careful attention to the drawings to successfully complete some of the models. The book is organized to take you through the steps you need to learn to do for each succesive model, however, so working systematically through the diagrams (some of the models are actually practice runs for subsequent ones) will help a lot.
