Students from the MIT D-Lab class, the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and the MIT Design That Matters club have joined forces with students from the Lutheran Episcopal Ministry and many others to create the FloodSafe Honduras. We work together to help communities in Honduras with our engineering and science skills aquired at MIT and throughout our education.

Eligible participants:

  • Anyone affiliated with the MIT community
  • Contact project leaders and we will figure out which project tasks are the best match for you.
  • Note: Although some of our funding comes from a Lutheran organization, all affiliates of the MIT community are invited to participate - we want to be clear that the project has no faith requirement and no missionary component. Its primary goal is the development of appropriate technology for developing communities.
