Counseling
While chaplains and spiritual directors can listen, pray with you, ask good questions, and direct you to other resources, in difficult times it often helps to talk with someone who is trained in looking at deeper issues of personal identity, family systems, or health-related stressors. Here are some good resources:
> Counselors, Health Educators, and other professionals at MIT:

> Support for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered, and Questioning students:

> Pastoral Counseling: At times, having the guidance of someone who is both a trained therapist and a Christian can be very helpful. Two
excellent resources near MIT are:
Trinity Church’s Pastoral Counseling Center http://www.trinitychurchboston.org/justice/counseling.php
Boston University’s Danielsen Institute Clinic
