Introduction:
Ruth Levitsky is the Immediate Past District Governor for Toastmasters in Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Ruth was awarded a 2002 District Achievement Award for outstanding contributions as a district governor, for her excellent service to the 120 clubs in District 31 and for her dedication to achieving the mission of Toastmasters International.

Toastmasters International empowers people to achieve their full potential and realize their dreams. Through its member clubs, people throughout the world can improve their communication and leadership skills, giving them the courage to change.

Today Ruth will show us how Toastmasters at MIT can help us to "Be Empowered…Realized Our Dreams!

* Practice makes good enough! Anyone can become a competent speaker.  "Taking the Terror Out of a Talk" Getting practice--Toastmasters at MIT, in your community, starting your own Toastmasters club.
