Does your club need a mailing list? Try egroups.com
You can set up a club mailing list that will be accessible to anyone with
a web browser (many public libraries now offer internet access). Egroups
also has other features such as a group calendar.
PR Tip of the Week, July 30th:Sending
announcements to local newspapers is a great way to acknowledge member
achievements and let the general public know about your club. How
can you find out which papers to send press releases to? Try doing
a search in switchboard on the
person's name. You'll see a list of what's in that person's neighborhood.
Click on "other businesses" and select newspapers, and you will have a
list of newspapers with addresses AND phone numbers.
