The MIT Living Group Council is
the organization which represents the five Independent Living Groups
(ILGs) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The LGC has four co-ed houses
( ET,
Fenway House,
pika, and
Student House),
and one all-female house (Women's
Independent Living Group).
The LGC also serves as a forum for the Independent Living Groups to exchange
ideas and work together to solve common problems.
Interested in living at an ILG or finding out more about how they work? Check out or page on Rush, the LGC's recruitment system. Interested in living at a living group over the summer? Some of the member houses of the LGC take boarders for the summer. For more information, visit the LGC Summer Housing page. Are you the parent of an MIT student? We have a special section just for a Parent's Guide to ILGs. The LGC and GaMIT sponsor Living Pink, a guide where fraternities, sororities, ILGs, and dorms can introduce themselves as supportive and friendly to LBGT students. We have some random documents of historical interest. Feel free to contact us with any questions you might have. |
