The Syntax-Semantics Reading Group is a weekly discussion group on syntax, semantics and their interface.
Meetings this semester are on Mondays from 11:30AM - 1:00PM in room 36-112 (pictured here) unless otherwise noted.
Meetings and changes in the schedule are announced by email to interested people. If you want to receive the email announcements, want to present something, give a practice talk, or have any other comments about the Syntax-Semantics Reading Group, email lf-reading-group-request@mit.edu.
Feel free to suggest a reading you would like to present or see presented.

Alya Asarina and Kirill Shklovsky will give a talk. The tentative title is "Optatives in Russian (and beyond)."
24.956 "Topics in Syntax: Imperatives" will meet. We will discuss the work by Potsdam and Rupp.
Arnim von Stechow (University of Tübingen) will give a talk entitled "Tense and Presupposition in Conditionals" (handout).
Pritty Patel will give a talk entitled "Exploring Case in Kutchi Gujarati."
